First comes the wedding, then comes the Honeymoon...If there was something I was looking forward to almost as much as the wedding is the honeymoon!! We wanted to go somewhere both of us have never been and experience it together, somewhere far, somewhere foreign and of course every girl wants to go to Paris!! The capital of fashion and everything chic and fabulous!...We started preparing for the honeymoon very early on with the amazing team of Travelmania we got our visas early on and the Travelmania team did the rest from booking our flights, hotels and city tours...to add to the fun we had our good friends who were celebrating their first wedding anniversary the day after our wedding so they also decided to join us for their second honeymoon...Two is a company, but four is a parteee!!! We left immediately the day after the wedding...so by the time we left home for the wedding ceremony we were all packed to go...from the wedding back to the hotel for the wedding night, checked out the next day went to our friends to chill until it was time to head to the Airport.
We arrived in Paris around noon, and checked in at our hotel The Holiday Inn Opera, and I had to say I was so very impressed with the Travelmania team for booking us there, it's a small cozy little hotel near the heart of Paris, it was exactly what you would expect of a four star global brand hotel, the staff were also very nice and accommodating, the rooms very clean and cozy...we have heard so many times how Parisians are so rude to anyone who doesn't speak french so we were armed with our survival french apps LOL...but everyone we met from out taxi driver from the airport to the hotel, the hotel staff spoke some english and we got on just fine.
I loved that instead of covering the wood beams they are exposed so cool...something African about it.
Ni**a's in Paris!!! where Kimye @? woohoooo LOL...
First order of business Lunch! The weather was just beautiful sunny and a little cold but just perfect, we were jet-lagged and could have used some sleep but we didn't want to waste a day...first stop at the legendary Hardrock Cafe...
Meet the HardRock Legendary burger...its so good and so big you just can't finish it...
After lunch, we went looking for the Opera house and of course the mall...
am in freakin Paris meiiinnnn!!! very surreal!!!
At Galerie Lafayette one of the Largest luxury shopping malls in the world, Channel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci you name it they have a store here, it's so packed with people queuing to get into stores like channel you would think they are handing out bags for free LOL...lot's of Asian people shopping here...we found only one reasonably priced store here ZARA and an H&M not far from the mall..
